Typical music magazines

Here is a screen print of the typical music magazines already out there. Even if you wasnt aware of who the artists were and what their music was like, it is easy enough to guess the genre of music they are in, due to the images. For example you can see that the XXL and VIBE magazines are of a rap/hip hop genre, as most of the people shown are showing off expensive jewlerry and watches. Top of the pops magazine, have typical girly girls, or pretty boys, that would appeal to a younger audience. Here is some of the genres i have placed the magazines in.

I had to research what genre i thought rolling stone and q nwould come under. Orginially qhen they first started they may have been indie magazines, however now they are featuring more popular artists, and i feel they target a wider audience.
