Preliminary Task!

The preliminary task consists of me creating a school magazine. This is a wide brief as i feel there are many ways i could go with this magazine, i decided to brainstorm my initial ideas.

I have sectioned this into 4 areas, informal, formal, teacher and student. In between the areas, there is the idea i think will work for a magazine. For example in the student section, under formal there is a revision help magazine, which is formal, as it is helping them with their education, whereas a gossip magazine, under student and informal, is an entertainment magazine, and is not educating them at all. The only magazine i am not too sure on is the gossip for teachers magazine, usually you wouldn't associate gossip, or informality with a teacher, as they should be formal whilst at school to set a good example, if they are reading up on gossip whilst at school this can make them look very unprofessional, i don't reckon this is a good magazine genre.
