My magazine

My magazine is going to reach the whole school, from the year 7's to the year 13's and even maybe some of the teachers. This is a large age gap, however i feel that because they all have the common interest of school and sixthform, i feel it is easier to traget them all.
I am going to do what the college magazine that i looked at also done, and make it a more interesting read for the audience, rather than just information and news about the school, like a newsletter which is more aimed at the students parents.

Magazine draft

Here is my initial magazine draft. I have just placed the title of the magazine, i have decided to call the magazine "The school bell" because i feel this is something that all students have in common. There are 4 stories on this page, however i am not yet sure if i wish to add an image to each of them. This magazine is going to be specific to St.Marks so this is why i have decided to use a burgundy colour, as st marks incorporate this colour in most of the school.

To the left is the st marks logo.

Here is my contents page, yet again i have gone with similar colours. I have decided to title this page, this months mag, instead of the boring old "contents" because i feel this is more what my audience would want. I feel that using informal langauage is what is suited to my taregt audience, "mag" is slang, but most people are aware it means magazine. I have got 3 images on this page, related to certain articles in my magazine, these pictures will be the main articles, and main features in my magazines, so it is best they have a picture so that the audience can be drawn in.
