I decided it would be a wise idea to start looking at how photoshop worked, because although i had looked at it before in product design lessons, i was still not very confident at using the programme, so when i had some free time at school, i decided that i would have a practice go and edit an image, here is the results.
Here is the initial Hannah image, i have posted this before.
Before, this image of Hannah is a basic shot at school, a medium shot which looks nothing like the vintage look that i wanted to achieve. What i wanted to do with Photoshop is make her look more vintage without having to do her makeup, and hair, and put her in more vintage clothing at school, when there was minimal time. Heres what i came up with:
I have clearly changed Hannahs hair, and made it typical vintage of the time. I personally like what has been done, however it doesn't look at real as i would've hoped. I have defined her eyebrows, as this was more common of the vintage time. I have added eyeliner to Hannahs eyes, and lipstick as well as more pinky cheeks! I thought that the shirt that Hannah had on, was smart anyways, and a nice colour to compliment her makeup.
