Above is my contents page. This shows the various fetauyres in this months magazine. I have used the same colour scheme, with the edition of a yellow and also a teale colour. I have made the main title the burgundy colour, because i think this makes the two pages appear linked. I have also used the exact same background colour for the same reason as previously, because it is a good colour for the pictures to show up on, and it is a gender neutral colour, as my magazine has no targetted gender in mind.
I also have a black box around regular features that come into my magazine each week. This is to highlight them, but my main articles are those with pictures and those that occur on the front page also.
I have used certain colours in order to make the stories stand out on the pictures. I have also stuck to the colours that are in my front page of my magazine, so that there is a common ground from both pages.
Photoshop
I have used photoshop on this to make the image of emily, just herself and not the background which wasn't needed. I have also tilted a few pictures to make them look different and like they've been placed there for a reason which they have. I also got rid of red eye where i needed to, fortunatley this was only present on the Emily image.
