The questions i asked were:
1) Do you like the 50's look?
The response i got from this question was that most people liked the 50's and the overall vintage look, due to the fact it was glamourous and sophisticated.
4) Do you think that people follow the trends of the artists in the media?
The overall answer for this question was a positive yes. A quote one person said was "I always see people wearing similar clothes to all the singers out there, they want to look like them, and have a similar look, as this is what is in fashion"
5) Would you read a magazine about 50's style?
Most people said possibly, this wasn't as strong as a response though. I feel this is because it is quite a niche market, and less people are attracted to the idea. However the few people that will be interested will love this idea.
6) Do you like 50's music, or do you think its outdated?
People said that it was okay, and they may not listen to it day to day, but they have older generations in their family that like this music.
7) Would you listen to 50's style music if it had an upbeat modern twist (for example, this elvis song released again in 2002 and became a number 1)
8) What would you expect to see in a music magazine of this genre?
This is the most important question, as it relates directly to what people would expect to see in my magazine, the response i had was that they may expect to see what people dressed like back in the day, how you can get a similar look now, artists that have a retro look now, and places you can go to see this kind of music.
